Take it how ever you want, caus I didnt take pics, I know pics are worth a thousand words, but ya can also argue about pics on the internet. I took my SR-556 out again and my best 3 3rnd groups at 100 with 55gr Rem. UMC were .573, .506, .678 MOA. Im very please and surprised especially with cheap 55gr. Im getting to really like this carbine.

Shoot 5 or 10 shot groups, then come back and report. I can shoot .3" 3 shot groups from my SPR, but 5 shots open it up to over .5".

Good shooting duck.  The Ruger has been my favorite purchase this year and that is out of a lot of purchases.

OK,  Enough of this B.S. Sub MOA out of a gulp,... RUGER?  Surley you jest!  Do me a favor and recheck the roll mark.  I'll bet you will find it says Colt, LMT, or some other well respected AR brand.

Good to hear. Congratulations. I see nothing wrong with 3 shot groups as long as you can do it every time. I prefer 5 shot groups.

+1, I have a marlin Model 60 that'll shoot a 1 shot group at .2MOA at 100 yards!!

What caliber is that model 60 ? Oh nevermind, my best friend growing up had one of those, I dont think he ever cleaned it and it was always good to go.

it was .22LR, I think I cleaned my once in 10 years, it was a great little gun for squirls and ground hogs, but not very accurate!

Fellas I understand that a group standard is 5 rounds, but since Nov 08 its hard to get ahold of heavy 223, and reluctant to dip into my stash of heavy. When heavy 223 becomes more available and I can replenish what I shoot then I'll run some 5 round groups of heavies. For now with 55gr im just having some fun and was surprised to see some good results with cheap 55gr.
