Can someone tell me why the colt 20rd mags at the back where the stripper clip guide goes over at the back of the mag lips are cut out. On the 30s this is not so. The 20s seem to strip feed easier than the 30s. Would fileing this area help. Thanks  Steve

I believe that the 30's were built differently to help reinforce the feed lips due to the increased pressure from the mag being loaded.
