I'm planning a couple projects for this winter, but am having a heck of a time finding stripped lowers.

Any suggestions on stocking dealers?  (I've gon through the Industry Links)

Thanks

I got mine from Spike's Tactical for $100. He's on the web. Google him. Good shop, reliable stuff.

Ameetec has them on sale.  Buy 5 get 1 free or buy 10 and get 2 free.  You can also less than five.

I haven't seen many striped lowers recently, but if I was looking for a STRIPPED lower, I would try an Essential Arms.

Suprisingly i walked into a local shop just to look around.

they had about 20 DPMS stripped lowers $99,  $89 if you got 5 or more

possibly the first time ever a local gunshop had "internet prices"

I just picked up a stripped DPMS for $135 at the only shop around that carries stripped lowers.  Last time I bought a lower there, all they had was Olympic's for around $130 I think.  A little higher than "net" prices, but by the time I figure in a xfer fee, the price isn't too bad.  I'm pretty impressed with the finish on the DPMS, it looks great.  I'll know better when I start installing a LPK.

<$100 for a lower and he can custom engrave artwork for you for a very small additional cost  (I think its $5).

Here is my recent build using his lower ...

What part of the State are you in? I have at least 2 dealers in the Portland area that always have stripped lowers on hand (But they do have a tendency to charge for them)

- Kieths Sporting Goods - of Gresham Or - always at the gun shows.

- The Gun Broker - Clackamas/Tualitin - $109 for Stag a few months ago.

Hope that helps.

I bought mine from Coleman Tyler. Decent price and good shipping.

Great - I didn't realize Gun Broker was stocking lowers.  I like Keiths, but he's never the least expensive.

Landcruiser, I'll look for you in the HTF.  ar15.com/forums/forum.html?b=8&f=36

Thanks guys.

Just got a dpms for 95 bucks.  CMMG is good and they deliver.  If I remember I paid 120 plus shipping and FFL fee.  Aim surplus seems good, but I have not delt with them yet.
