Hi Guys!

Couple questions, just built a standard 20 inch AR-15 A2 using a delton parts kit and a completed stag lower. By doing that I have an extra lower parts kit and an A2 buttstock for a stripped reciver.

I was wondering if anybody has stripped .308 recievers and if they take the same lower parts kit that the .223 rifles do? If not I will just buy a standard .223 lower to build but thought maybe a 308 rifle would be fun.

The DPMS lower uses alot of standard parts, but I'm pretty sure the front pin is different(longer).  It also requires a 308 specific buffer.  I was at a gun show in NC today and Del-Ton had stripped LR-308 lowers for sale, but I'm pretty sure that they were in excess of $300.  You can build your own, but it's not as affordable as AR-15 building.
