got a stock and grip off the EE . He had some handguards to for
me to look at. Was meeting him in town this morning for a FTF.
Well on the way, my idler pulley took a turn for the worst.
He brought them to me in the next town up & offered to help me
fix it. Turn out it was broke and I had someone to take me to get
the part.got the ole Ford going.
Mainly just wanted to say it was a noble thing to do.
Thanks for the parts & your services JHUD.
God Bless!
Mike

Was it a Retro Ford?

I would expect nothing more from anyone in the retro world - and it sounds like you got to hang out with jhud for a time.

No retro Ford. Got to dig through a box of
handguards.
Is it bad if your broke down and digging through a box
of HGs on the side of the hwy,on a Saturday morn?LOL

And I remember what got me started. I bought a mottled
grip from him at a show awhile back.

Not with an idler pulley. Glad you got it fixed. One of those 120K parts that will break. Glad you didn't overheat it.

Jhud has always been a huge asset to retroland and the retro community.

Sounds like the best way to tackle the situation.
