A bunch of you guys have really sold me on Rock River Arms. I have about decided that I want to order RRA upper and lower receivers from Pete at Legal Transfers. But...

A bunch of you have also really sold me on the 1 in 7 twist chrome lined barrel 4150 steel barrels so of course RRA barrels are not an option for me.

I will be going with a KKF A3 TacBrake so the barrelled upper will be going to Kurt regardless.

What do you guys think about getting my RRA receivers from Legal Transfers, one of the DPMS 1 in 7 twist barrels from CMMG and sending it all to Kurt for assembly and A3 TacBrake installation, and probably a cast for forged front sight swap?

Any other suggestions other than this proposal would of course be welcomed and appreciated.

Thanks!

I don't see anything wrong with either choice. I think it will boil down to if you want the 1/7 barrel or not.

I am familiar with Adco and have heard nothing but good about them, but I have never heard of White Oak. How is their quality? Is this a chrome lined 1 in 7 twist 14 1/2" 4150 steel barrel with the correct M4 contour/profile? How do they compare in quality to other manufacturers? Thanks! Also, any other suggestions?

Get whatever you want but consider a 1:9 twist barrel at 16". More versatile and decent velocity. 5sub
