I have a Smith & Wesson AR15 MOE eddition rifle. I want to put an ASAP end plate on for my MS3. The castle nut is steaked at every notch and I have destroyed one buffer tube wrench already. Luckily the nut and threads are not destroyed yet. Looking for advice from some experts please.

It's not Rare to hear about a Medium quality stock wrench being defeated by factory "steaking."  A lot of folks use the flimsy little single prong spanner wrenches instead of a good, heavy duty tool and end up bending them.

You need to get a Well Done, heavy duty combination wrench with three prongs and break the staking loose.

Use a small punch and hammer to knock the indentations back flush, then torque with wrench to break it loose.

If I was faced with removing a castle nut that's was staked 4 times, I would be glad I spent the money on my Hammerhead wrench. It's 1/4" solid steel and engages all 4 indents on the castle nut.

Or try a small drill bit and just drill enough to free them, ive done this several times and used the parts as spares. Put a little pressure on them with the wrench and give it a few quick sharp blows with a hammer to break it free, not slow rotational force.

Wow 4 stakes.
I used a small punch and pushed as much metal as i could back.
I only had to do 1.
