 new model is on right It looks less like a Colt stock but it is a stronger design. |

Maybe Colt got tired of CMT/STAG using Colt's molds & selling the same stock for 1/2 price of a Colt ?

I think they'll see a hit in sales because of the switch -- what makes their stock so special now? It was nice for nitpicky people making M4geries.

OK so where can I get a stock that matches what is actually on my M-4? Who makes or stocks the older style ones? Not going to spend my money on a M-4 stock that doesnt look like an actual M-4. Guess I might have to go with the old style since we have plenty of M-4s with the older CAR style stocks on them around here.

Thats me! FA-Gunner,I find that they still turn up ocasionally & buy them when I can. I was lucky to get 2 complete assemblies in the $60 range ( new) |

I Can get my hands on about 50-100 hundred old style Stag Stocks as a complete assy. If enough people are intrested I will get them.

Am I the only one who thinks the older enhanced style looks better? These look just like the Bush/RRA/Cavarms rendition of the enhanced M4 stock.

Just wondering how many of you out there have had any problems with the new Stag stocks? I'm just curious if this is widespread, or just a few isolated incidents? There's two threads on it:
