Ya I couldnt find one in stock either a couple of weeks ago, I bought a RRA.. I am glad I did. in the long run, the resale value will be more and its nice to have a matching rifle Because I was planning on buying a RRA upper anyways. I think that with them winning the government contract that they will be the new Big-dog.. check out www.adcofirearms.com

THEY ROCK>>

There is certainly nothing wrong with the RRA. I just happen to like the stag arms and I like the stag head on the receiver for the hunting rifle I want to build. I checked eagle firearms and they said a couple of weeks but that was a long time ago and still there aren't in stock.

Have you tried eaglearms, they had them on the ee, I bought a few awhile back? I haven't looked for any lately, but the seem to have been a regularly stocked item. Hawken on page 2 of the ee, has sripped stag lowers for $105 date 1/31/06

Yes, that's who I was talking about, I called them eagle firearms. They have been out for quite awhile and then the price went up while they were still out of stock.

I got 6 for the hell of it, guess that wasn't a bad move, and they were all logged out as pistols, for $84 apiece.

Judging from the AG's opinion, it didn't do you much good! Hopoefully, some of you will stand together and fight this in court!

I missed this one. What new law restricts cali residents from having the lowers? I noticed in the ee, that vendors are saying the won't ship to cali. This isn't suprising, just curios what changed.

I'm in CA and just picked up a Stag lower a few weeks ago. I'd like to pick up another lower or two while I can. Any advice? I bought mine from an acquaintance, adn we had a local shop owner do the Xfer. If I were to buy direct, would I have the lower shipped to his store (with his permission, of course)? He's getting near $200 for new ones.
Also, what are the comments regarding CA owners possibly neeeding to sell their Stag lowers? Is there a problem I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance...I'm a complete novice here, and appreciate the good info and input on this site.
