Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Stag Arms Model 2T

I just bought a Stag Arms Model 2T and it is stamped as 5.56 cal. I know some other companies stamp their receivers 5.56/.223. I know 5.56 and .223 is interchangable and not to shoot 5.56 in a gun stamped .223 only.

Is it safe though to shoot .223 through my Stag Arms Model 2T that is only stamped 5.56?

What grain bullet would be recommended in this 1/9 twist barrel.

Yes, and anything from 40-75gr will work, I would recommend 69gr for the best accuracy.

thank you. is there any other advice? what brands are better? I have heard that Wolf is not good to shoot through a chrome lined barrel
