Hey everyone...A while ago there was a thread regarding how people stacked their 30rd magazines in .50cal ammo cans so they could fit the maximum number of mags in their cans. There were a bunch of pictures too. Can anyone send me a link to that old thread?  The Search only goes back a month...Thanks.

I stack twelve 30s and eight 20s in each 50cal ammo can, with plenty of space on top for more [:)]

Ahhhh, that is EXACTLY the picture I was thinking about.  Thanks a lot!

I only have ten 30rd magazines, so it looks like the .30cal cans are perfect for all the XM193 I'm gonna start buying...

Thanks for the tip Troy.  I'll keep an eye out for the Saw cans.  I'll also check around for some online resellers.

You can find SAW cans here: armygear.net

I store my spare AR parts in SAW boxes and they are excellent. I'd store mags in them too but they become too heavy for me to carry when full.

The weight issue probably isn't a big deal for anyone else-but my left achilles tendon is torn and I walk with a cane. That's why I have to keep the weight down to a more manageable level [:)]

My nickname at the range is "Step THUMP" [:D]
