Got my Spikes 6.8 done. Had to grab scope and mount I had on hand cuz' I was dying to shoot it. Will uprgrade after X-Mas sometime. Good shooter so far with 110 gr. Sierra Prohunters. Really like the Spikes enhanced LPK. Trigger is very nice.

I know my frig' is a clusterfuck. Don't tease me too bad. (yeah that's my kid kissing Pres. Bush.)

Very nice...I'm saving to build my 6.8 as we speak...

Thank's. It seems to shoot well so far. I want to try some optics with a little more magnification to see what kind of accuracy it's capable of. I only have about 60 rounds through it. Just a quick sight in session. I was getting around 1 1/2"  groups with the 4x scope while it was snowing. Hoping for better when it's broke in and using better scope.

Look forward to seeing your 6.8 when done.

What scope are you using.  Im trying to find something for my 6.8 build.  Does anyone make 6.8 turrets or a BDC calibrated for 6.8?

With the polygonal rifling and the matted SS barrel I think these look like the nicest 6.8 uppers on the market in this type of configuration. Anyone agree or disagree and why?

Thanks for the nice comments about rifle, gun holder and cabinets.

The scope is a Millet DMS.

I have agree about the Spikes 6.8 being one of the nicer uppers out there. I have a couple Lothar Walther barrels on rifles and have been real happy. It's one of the features that attracted me to this Spikes upper. Somebody there is a perfectionist. Can't find a thing to complain about.

Thanks again

Very cool rifle man!  I want to do a 6.8 as well.

Post some pics of groups and ammo when you get around to it..

Very nice.  Can you see the fixed front sight through the scope when it's turned down to 1X?

That's what I want to know.  I've ordered an Spike's 6.8 upper and will be putting a low powered scope on it as well.

I am a fan myself of the Lothar Walther barrel so much so I built my own in 5.56

Nice rifle Op.  I am thinking of my next build being in 6.8 just like that but with the Spikes BAR rail.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate soon and I get some more ammo through it. It was been switching back and forth between snow and torrential downpour lately. I need to get off my butt and get my shooting shack built. Been threatening to do it for years. Might help keep the horses and cows from helping me out at the shooting bench too. lol!

Yes, you can. Lines up with bottom 1/4 co-witness.

Edgecrusher, very nice stick you have there.

Thanks again for the comments fellas.
