Hey guys and gals,

I shoot alot of .223 and some .300, and i dont reload.

I always save my shells, are they worth anything?

I recycle my steel shell casings along with tin cans, plastics and paper. I just don't see any reason to bury that stuff in landfills.

Yes they are, to YOU. If you have been saving all your brass then YOU really need to get into reloading. It isn't hard at all but it is something you have to follow the rules with. A good supply of brass is a huge savings when it comes to reloading.

All metals have a scrap price.  Whatever the price is for that metal on that day.  Cartridge BRASS is copper/zinc.  Last time I took 22lr cases, about 120lbs, to the scrap yard, they were paying 2.30/lb.  IF you decide to sell to a reloader the price will be about 5 TIMES the price of scrap.  THAT's one of the reasons people sell brass on the EE.  ALL METALS HAVE A MONETARY,read dollars, VALUE.
