Yeah, it's a nice piece. Tom Sawyer Mfg. does great work. I have an engraved lower from him that I love. I highly recommend them!!

Wait, why does it have the numbers 9-1-1 on it? I forgot.

EDIT: Did they mean 1911?

Trying to ignore the troll. Would you shoot with it or keep it in a case? I'm thinking DCM.

Those were done for CMMG I believe.

Not a fan of the red, but really like the black. Anyone who is over 8 or 9 years old should have that date permanently burned into their heads as a memory, not history.
Link Posted: 1/16/2006 5:51:17 AM EDT
Whats 911 mean I forgot....thats it the site has to start drug testing before allowing people to join
Link Posted: 1/16/2006 6:02:08 AM EDT
For some reason I'm thinking RED on a working firearm is a BAD idea.

That being said, the color scheme sure looks nice..

The CoC should be changed to allow the instant locking of any account with a post like that!

I think that completed carbine (bayonet included) is awesome; I like the receiver engraving with the firefighter. The color choice is not my cup of tea, but to each, his own. Nonetheless, I like it.

Got to get the word out on this one!

This would make an awsome addition to some of the better Fire Dept Color / Honor Guards that I know of.

This would have been a nice addition to the hundreds of memorial / funeral services that occured following 9-11-01. Man it seemed like they would never end.

All Gave Some, Some Gave All!

Thanks for the headsup,
"Capt Richardson"

not trying to crap all over their effort but I think Glocks tribute was better
Link Posted: 1/16/2006 2:42:24 PM EDT
I think that would make a fitting execution weapon for any supporter or player on the attacks of our country. Performed right on the streets of New York.

How soon some people forgetAndy

I knew that no child left behind program was a big failure
Link Posted: 1/16/2006 2:57:04 PM EDT
Unless they're donating profits to the children of the fallen FD/PD or some similar orginization I think it's rotten.

just MHO!

Otherwise, though the color scheme is fugly, the engraving is cool. Ar's should not be done like a dedicated Orange Co. chopper.

If a FF, LEO, or regular Joe wants to remember those who died in service to their country, I don't see it as rotten. There have been plenty of requests for 9-11 tribute items, I see this as no different unless someone is jacking prices super high to make an obscene profit.

You should be proud to support your country, and its heroes.

Support your country, support the god given right to bear arms to protect yourself, support your right to vote. Knowledge is power.

How could there be a 00/100

that would actualy mean there is 101 lowers with this engraving ......

Link Posted: 1/16/2006 5:15:14 PM EDT
His 00/100 is a prototype and there will only be a production run of 001/100-100/100. That's a total of 100.

Here's a hot tip. I *am* one of those "heroes" and 911 NEVAR FORGET was old and tired two months after that date. Every one in the law enforcement, fire fighting and military walks of life were doing their job before september 11th and they have continued to perform their jobs afterwards. Before september 11th, no one gave a crap, now it is the in thing to do. It makes soccer moms and couch potatos think they are contributing somehow. Want to support the troops? Recruitment is at an all time low, go join them.

You mean, you already forgot about September 11th? You know, when Al Queda crashed planes into the World Trade Center? Are you like 10 years old?
Link Posted: 1/16/2006 5:30:41 PM EDT
These were the brain child of a firefighter "Mike" a good friend of the CMMG boys he helps out there and is an all around good guy a portion of the proceeds does go to the Firefighters Relief Fund or some such as I recall

Black/Gold Accent Commemorative Firemans Gun

Weapon is fully functional and not just for display. Weapon specs include 6 position collapsible stock, MP tested 14.5" chrome lined barrel with permanent phantom hider to bring it up to legal 16". The Rifles are very nice and available on their webpage in the two configs shown.

These guns are just one step shy of a tiger stripe nickel plated Desert Eagle in the fugly department. The only reason they don't surpass it is because they at least have some function.
