the jacket is supposed to be comparatively thin, lending it a reputation as especially good for anti-personal use due to high fragmentation.

It also lowers collesterol, grows hair, and makes you irresistable to women.

The .308 SA surplus I bought was definetly steel jacketed. There was a very thing layer of a copper colored coating with a steel bullet under it. It stuck to a magnet.
