I have been looking for a Slickside upper for a few weeks now with no luck, anyone know of a source for them. Preferably a complete upper with the barrel.

Same here. I need one for my 604 build.

I searched, and apparently there are no new slickside style uppers being made at this time.

You'll have to go for used ones.

They ARE available, and actually are pretty common.

Check the EE.  You won't have to wait long.

ETA:  I'm happy to discover that there IS a source, after all.

Used is fine with me, as long as the price is right. I'l look through the EE.

If you're looking for a new one, the only new ones are made by DPMS.  Fulton Armory sells them for $99.95.  Some people say they have had problems with them being out of spec, but I haven't had any problems with mine.  It has an Anchor Harvey forge code on it.

ETA: You can get complete uppers too, but they are pretty expensive.

ETA: photo taken from the Fulton Armory  website.

Would it be cheaper to get a fulton "slick side" upper then get a barrel for it, or to go ahead and get a complete upper?

My Fulton slickside is tighter than either my Del Ton receiver or CMMG.  But it functions 100% with a Youngs BCG.

Their complete uppers are $600.  If you got one of their stripped uppers for $100 and built it up by yourself, you could build it for less than half that.

I might go that route then.

I just got my slickside upper from Fulton Armory today. Too bad I cant see it in person (They dont ship to APO's) but from the pics my dad took, it looks good. Now I just need the LPK, Barrel, CH and BCG.

Could you post a photo or 2 of your Fulton upper? I'm curious to see what they look like compared to the "stock" photos on their website. Thanks.

Mine runs flawless with a Youngs NM carrier and LMT bolt.
The tolerances were tight.  A bunch of lube and 500 rounds fixed the tightness.

Pics of my XM177-inspired 9mm Carbine.  I used a stripped Fulton Armory upper and a stripped Global Tactical lower.

This little carbine is a great shooter and fun as hell!  It always goes to the range with me.

You know, for the price of an original slickside on the EE you coudl just get one of these Silicksides and have it refeinished in Colt Gray!

I have one slick slide upper in colt gray I'd be willing to trade for a Fulton Armory slick slide in black (I want to match the color of my a2 lower that it is currently on, but I would have to get either the upper or the lower refinished).  I have pics I can email too.   Email me if anyone is interested [email protected]

My slickside came from Fulton Armory in black and US Anodizing redid it to match the NDS XM Grey lower:

I'm continuing to see slick sides on GB, but they are somewhat overpriced.

Thanks again for the Fulton pics! Now all I'm waiting for is for Uncle Sam to give me my money back...
