This wait is killing me! I was just curious on who has received, and how many are still out on order. I ordered a couple of them and can’t wait. I will feel better when I receive them and the elections are over.
I am.. But waiting on mine for dealer cost.. Not $1400-1600 smacks..
I will take one at your dealer cost also. |
According to the SAWLESALES website, they have 112 of them in stock again....They upped the price another $100 now, to $1395. (Up from $950 before the ban, to $1595 for a couple days after, to $1295 now back to $1395...)
No but if I can get more than 1.. I wil see what I can do.. Frankly this price gouging is pissing me off, but who am I to say anything. |
Looks like SAW is down to 37 in stock....It's interesting to watch this.
I guess I didn't do to bad I paid under $1000 for each rifle.
There is something funny about people pay more for a weapon after the ban than they would have for it during the ban!
I'm waiting for one.
This thread is a trap to get all colt supporters in the same place. |
Ha! Rather than buy complete 6920 rifles, over the past several months I have purchased several 6920/6920HB barrels, receivers, LPKs etc to build my own. In fact, my trusty MT6400C is being converted into a "poor mans" 6920 right now. Part of me is a tad jealous of all of you guys who are enjoying the hell out of your 6920s. With all of the money I've spent on parts over the past few months I just can't justify buying one factory assembled. |
+1 I know what you paid for it.. hehehe Must be nice to make a $600+ mark up on every gun you sell... |
I'm so damn jealous of you all. The rifle looks nice congrats!
How about the price for the Barrett M468

I'm waiting for some 6920's coming directly from SAW, I cant stop checking the tracking number status (it's consuming me).
I am on Gundealer3's waiting list. No hurry and no worry.
This is my new financial SHTF rifle. In case of fiancial emergancy, sell on Gunbroker. |
I ordered mine during the second week of sept. It is now in at my dealer and shipping to my FFL this week. I cant wait .
You don't want the dealer to make any money?? And how would you know what "his cost" is? |
He may work for a gun store... |
Does anyone know what Gunbroker charges for "final value fee" when the auction ends? |
Because I am the gun dealer.. Makes my hobbies a little cheaper.. The place I order form says they are expecting a shipment soon, and my name is in the list.. should have bought 100 of them back in july.. |
I'm waiting on one from SteyrAUG's group buy. Maybe a month away.
Ditto. I'm hoping sooner since I ordered a day after the initial order. |
Gee, that's funny, I could have sworn you were NOT a paying advertiser. |
LARRY-YOU HAVE HAD THOSE GUNS FOR 10 DAYS AND NOT SOLD ALL OF THEM YET?
Out of the 43 that came in last week we have 27 left.
THE PEOPLE THAT ARE BUYING MINE, ARE THE ONES THAT ARE TIRED OF THE WAITING B.S. """IN STOCK MEANS ALOT""" |
Well if you think that: 1) Real M4 handguards on an M4. 2) The correct Mil spec dimensioned extension tube. 3) The correct weight "H" type buffer 4) Magna-particle testing of the Bolt and Barrel. 5) A Steel trigger guard and magazine catch button. 6) The correct "F" type Carbine front sight base. And true M4 feed ramps aren’t "superior" or worth the extra $150 then yes, you made the right decision! |

Here's my take on all this Colt 6920 madness. I've been into guns since I'm a kid. I love shooting but I also enjoy collecting. I try to buy guns at the right price that have a good chance of at least holding their value and maybe even appreciating in valueher
I really like the AR platform but AR's aen't my major interest in firearms. ARs are great fun and in my opinion every responsible American should own one. Back in 2000 I bought a LNIB HK 91A3 at a good price and a neutered 20" Colt Match Target HBAR (I didn't know about ar15.com then) Well, the HK was a very cool rifle but not nearly as user friendly as my AR. I wound up selling my HK for a nice profit. I sold it because I never used it, I always grabbed the Colt when I was off to the range. My Colt ran flawlessly and was very accurate but it had the fixed carry handleheavy I've been wanting a Colt M4gery for some time now but just couldn't justify those "pre ban" price tags. Then along came the expiration of that ridiculous AWB and I found myself lusting after a quality brand name M4gery. I know that Bushmaster makes a quality rifle and I figured I'd be happy with one.....but deep down (my father's words came back to me) I really wanted a Colt 6920 or a 6721, either one would have been great. I had to sell my Match Target HBAR to fund an M4gery. I sold it at a loss of about $250. Had it not been a Colt I have a feeling I would have taken a much bigger loss. Now although I wanted the Colt, I didn't want a $1750 Colthe I got lucky and found a NIB Colt 6920 at a local gunshow. It cost me about $1350 out the door. Sure, I may have paid a good premium but I got just what I wanted. A real Colt. After a year or so that $350 will not matter a whole lot. I took it to the range the other day and it shot greathad Now it's just a used Colt 6920 and if I ever decide to sell it. (I hope I never have too.) I may take a loss but somehow I don't think it'll be a very big hit because it's a Colt with those fugly LE USE Only stamps. I also believe a new AWB will be enacted down the road. Life is short and I'm glad I didn't have to settle this time. God knows we have to in so many areas of our lives. Sorry to ramble on! Randy |

Sounds like price gouging to me.. The flood gates will open, and everyone will be left with a bad taste in their mouths.. They will remember were that taste came from.. Good luck with you raping.. I would never disclose dealer pricing, but because of the rape fest revoling around "In Stock" Colt rifles, I will.. Price qouted me from my dist.. $798.. for the 6920.. To me, saving $800 dollars is worth the wait.. Carry on.. |
LOL, I thought the sunset would cut out black rifle gouging...how naive I was! |
If you call Specialized Armament and tell them you are LE, they will quote you $945 for a LE6920. They are only gouging us "civilians". |
coltshorty14,
YOU ARE F**KING HIGH DEALER ON THE 6920'S ARE ALL OVER A GRAND, S.A.W. IS AT $13 SOME THING NOW, CLYDE'S IS UP TO $12 NOW, DEALER ON THE 9620'S LAST YEAR WASNT EVEN UNDER $9 SOME THING. YOUR JUST A "TROLL" MAKING TROUBLE. **** AND IF KERRY WINS, YOU HAVENT SEEN NOTHING YET WHEN IT COMES TO PRICES**** |
Then how do you explain Specialized Armament's price of $945 to officer? (And about $100 less for department, (no FET)) |
I did call a local Colt LAW dist. and they told me $989.00, but they couldn't sell to the public. I had to go through SAW for $1395. Ouch!!!
HOW COULD DEALER COST BE MORE THAN A $1000, IF THEY SELL TO LEO FOR $989???? |
Nah, if he were a troll he'd have brought up you getting arrested in Reno for selling firearms illegally. |
OUCH! that was cold. but for the sake of argument. even if LarryG36 makes $500 a piece, he's put up his $50,000 to make.. less than $20,000 over 4 or 5 months. That is OK, it is capitalism and after all no one says you have to get one at that price edit to REMOVE REFERENCE |
I inquired about LarryG36's LE69920, and his prices are pretty high$1569 + 25 shipping. Well he emailed me saying it is going up $100 on Friday ($1669.00)!!! I know he has some in stock, but why does he need to screw the same people who keep him in business.
No wonder Larry has them in stock!!!! I bought mine from Tina at Specialized for $1395.00, and it is shipping Friday to my FFL. I say just buy from Specialized www.specializedarmament.com/ and save $200+ |
