From what very little I've read that was a pretty good weapon/ weapons system. Seemed to have a lot of configurations. Any knowledge as to why it didn't become more successful?

Believe it or not, the plan is to one day have an operational firearm. There are several overlapping parts that can be saw-cut and re-welded. John Thomas |

Very cool! Hey, two barrel stubs with front sight bases and flash hiders means two possible builds!! I notice that those flash hiders look pretty similar to those used on the CETME. Coincidence?

What's the purpose of the hoe in the bottom of the hand guard?
I know the later models had a vertical charging handle relocated There , but there is no slot for it to move so that's not it |
