Well? I really want to build a companion piece to my Glock 19, and I figure that what better way to do it than by building a 9x19 AR carbine that accepts the same dang magazines.

What's the Four One One and general consensus?

Except Glock doesn't make any super-high (>15) capacity magazines.

Glock makes g18 mags that fit all the 9mm's and hold 33rounds.

I think they're pretty cool.  The magazines look odd because they insert at the pistol angle, but otherwise it's pretty standard.

Don't play with Glocks much do ya?

Both the G17 and the G33 magazines are greater than 15 rounds.  Plus there are optional +2 and +4 Glock baseplates that increase the capacity fo the FML magazines.

The trick is to buy the Glock mags & extensions and not the crappy aftermarket stuff.

Good concept.  New feed angles and mag/platform combos. need to be tested together.  You're going to need long term reliability testing, before it should be considered for anything more serious than range work/plinking.

I wish there was a G20 factory 30 round magazine and a companion AR to go with my G20 in 10MM

I bought one and liked it a lot, however the high cap factory Glock 33 rounders had to be modified (filing on mag catch area) to get them to fit into the mag well properly.

Never had any probs using G17 or G19 mags, it ran like a strippedSTRIPED-assed ape.

But sold it to feed my HK habit.
