Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - So How do I know if my new Eotech is REV F?

    Just bought a new 512 and wondering how to tell if it is REV F.  It has the raised rubber buttons but nowhere on the box, the literature or the sight itself can I find this particular info.  Got a killer deal on it but wanted to know if it is one of the newest series.  It does seem hella bright when I put it up next to my old 500 series.  Anybody know?

On the bottom left (on the outer cover near the down arrow) is the letter "F". If you have his letter you have the updated 512.
