A little while ago on some other thread I saw pictures of an AR that someone had done in a snake skin pattern.  Have also seen it on a Jackson Custom shop guitar (of all places!).

Does anyone know where I can get the cross-hatched stencil to do this?  I'm refinishing a freds synthetic M14 stock and would love to do it in this pattern.

Thanks for any help or leads.  I've been googling all morning and can't find what I'm looking for.

like this???? Not the best job in the world, but was ment to break up the pattern at a distance....

I used a USGI white mesh laundry bag.  So I am uber tacticle.  Get a few different paterns and try it out on cardboard before you do the stock...

Ive seen this technique done by putting a fish net stocking over the area! Those come in different pattern sizes so that you can get the holes as large or as small as you need.
