I'm looking for recommendations for a 20" barrel rifle (SEBR).  I've tried CQB SOP (universal sling since I have a standard stock) and when I adjust it so that I have room to bring up to my shoulder it rides low (at my crotch) for ready carry.  I guess this could act as a shield for my package but it isn't very comfortable.  My original thought was that the rifle wasn't suited to a single point sling thus the SOP.  Any thoughts?

If I remember correctly, the SEBRs had rails on them, correct?

Gas block quad rail only.

If so, you need to order a CQB/Specter sling for the M16A4.  They are made to go around the RAS.

However, since you state below that the rifle is hanging too low, it sounds like you just might not have it adjusted correctly.

That certainly could be - tried various times but was unsuccessful.

Let us know which model number of the SOP sling you purchased, and we can give you more advice!

According to invoice:  #134 SOP Sling M-14 w/M203.

And I would certainly appreciate it!
