I want to get a two point tac sling and i need to know the best hardware and sling to get. I am new and this is my first AR.
I have a quad picatinny gas block and i will be getting a GRSC AR-15 Carbine Stock Sling Adapter.

You can't go wrong with Gear Sector, VTAC, or Blue Force (Vickers).

I run Rocky Mountain Tactical Summit slings, which are 1-pt to 2-pt convertible quick-adjust slings.

I just mounted a vickers padded sling from blue force gear on my M4gery, I love it so far.

I really love my padded VTAC.

I've been doing a good amount of hiking, carrying a 9.5 lbs AR with me. With the VTAC holding the rifle tight to my chest, I never notice it. The padding is a big plus, and adjustments are quick and easy.

I'm in need of a solid sling so I think I'll give the Gunslinger a go.  Any objections?

I use Gear Sector slings exclusively. The single point and 2 point versions are solid slings and Jason Trusty offers first rate customer service and fast shipping. I have tried many different brands until I found the GS slings.

Do you want a name or a sling that does everything all the others do for 1/2 the price and available in any color you want... so long as it's black?

Larry Vickers used to run these slings for a long time until he decided he could make some cash by "improving" the design. You will not find a better made, easier to adjust, easier to attach tactical any where. The prices include the shipping too! The webbing is all top notch and the stitching is perfect. They have an assortment of different attachment options too. The guy is the designer and maker of the Redi-Mag too.
I own 3 of his slings and have bought each of my 3 sons a Boonie Packer sling for their AR's.(My oldest son is a Marine and swears by his Boonie Packer) I will be buying his Safari sling for my bolt action rifle and will add another of his tactical slings to my AK when it arrives next week.
So go for the name and fancy color of the month stuff if you want. But you can not do any better then a Boonie Packer, period.(IMHO of course)

I use a Blue Force Gear VCAS sling, Noveske QD End Plate, and Heavy Duty QD sling swivels.  The DD Omega rail has my front attachment point in it.
