I bought some of the stuff and I can fire about 10-12 rounds and then the case gets stuck in the chamber.  I'm guessing that the case itself may be the problem because it isn't brass, anyone experience similar problems with this type of ammo?

Have you had probs with other brands 'o' ammo?

Never had a problem in my 5.56 chambers.

no, not really.  my AR is a 5.56 and not a .223.  I'm thinking that the case expands differently from the brass, but I can't figure out why.

I'd keep that and Wolf far from my AR.  ...and any other ammo that may or does indeed has any sort of problem.

I love Silver Bear.  Makes wolf look like a bb gun.

I've gone through about 8-900 rounds so far and no problems. Its not the most accurate (3"-3.5" groups) but it seems to be fine for plinking.

My AR is a RRA 16" Carbine, so I wouldn't consider it a lower end rifle.  It just seems that after about 10-12 rounds, the case will not extract and I have to use the cleaning rod to push the case out.

To sum it up: beware of cheap fun-show ammo!

I had major problems with it - FTE - stuck cases, etc. etc. in a 5.56 chambered LMT upper.  Might be good to toss a few rounds in mags randomly to practice TAP RACK BANG and failure drills though...

I shot all I had and won't buy it again I think - it was incredibly frustrating to get off 2 shots (plinking), drop the mag, clear as best I could, break out the cleaning rod and ram the round out.  Fire 3 more shots, repeat, repeat, repeat

FWIW, my AR shoots WOLF fine

Did you check the ammunition review tacked to the top of the page?

Stuck cases can be common with this ammo. Chances are it's the sealant around the case neck. Remove it from some rounds with fingernail polish remover (Acetone) and try again.

+1

I've still got a couple hundred rounds.  Similar issues in 3 out of 4 rifles.  I do not buy this ammo anymore.

I shoot the .308 wand no problems
