I went to sight in my Aimpoint M2 in today. I set up about 25 yards and got it sighted in with 1/2 groups. I then went up to 7 yards and was aiming at the center when I got done all my shots were about 4-5 inches below the center.

The 50 yard zero works best for Aimpoints mounted to a flat top.

I concur with Bystander, the 50 yard sight in is the best.

This site might help explain why the guys above are partial to the 50 yard "Santose" method. http://groups.msn.com/TheMarylandAR15ShootersSite/zeroingmethods.msnw I too, zero my ML2 for 50 yards. Mike

I just Battle Zero my Iron Sights. Then, I adjust the Dot of the Aimpoint so that when looking through the rear iron peep-sight, the dot sits on top of the front sight post. (depending on your mount)
