I would suggest irons first, and I read somewhere that if you sight in at 300 you're covered for anything closer than that as well. *shrug* where in LA, if you dont mind me asking?

If you don't have irons, how difficult is it to sight in an EoTech? Isn't it just like sighting in any other scope or optic? Windage and elvevation adjustments to get on target?

sight in irons first as set forth above, then move the little dot on the eotech to the top of the front sight for rought site in and adjust from there, at least that's what I'd do, but I'm not exactly Captain Tactical.

Yes, just as easy as any other optic with windage and elevation adjustments.
