anybody know how to adjust the sights on a CETME rifle? Was shooting one for the first time the other day and it is shooting high and to the left. I know they have a sight tool, but don't know how to use it.Thanks

Its pretty simple to adjust the irons on a cetme or fr-8, but it is sort of hard to describe how to do it in words only. Basically both windage and elevation are adjusted at the front sight. If you look at the front sight blade (cone) from the top, you will notice that the blade (cone) is off-centered with respect to its base, which is threaded into front sight base. The windage of the sight is limited over 180 degree range of movement of the threaded portion of the sight. As a result, the windage adjustment on these types of rifles is somewhat limited. Check out these links: Cemte and FR-8 discussion forum http://www.gunboards.com/forums/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Headlines&BID=30&SID=970791 A thread on how to set windage http://www.gunboards.com/forums/UltraBoard.cgi?action=Read&BID=30&TID=34118&P=1&SID=1726151#ID13 Most important, loosen the set screw on the front of the sight before adjustment. This can be difficult since it may be in there pretty tight. I found that putting a couple drops of CLP on it and letting it sit for a couple days did the trick, that and having the proper size screw driver.
