Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Sight/Optic Combo Opinions?

Looking into building an flat top AR for plinking, small game, antelope, and deer.  

I definitely want iron sights on it, but know I'll want an optic for antelope.  What's a good way to go about this?  Folding sights F/R?  Any favorite combos relevant or otherwise?  

Couldn't find anything with the search function that I liked...
