Gotcha. Drive out one of the roll pins with a punch. You can then remove the block that the pins go into. Slide the assembly around the barrel with one of the flat pieces going under the front sight base. Reinstall the block and tap the roll pin back into place. It's a 5 minute job...tops.

Thanks a ton. I don't know why I was so worried about messing up a piece of metal. It's my first gun so still a tad timid with the pieces. :)

You can do it. Four hands are sometimes a good thing, but you can do it.
Start buying the right tools to do this stuff now. You'll want them later.  Eventually the disease will make you build an entire gun from parts.
