Have you guys ever heard of a ar-15 parts seller named "Schurlunk" or something similiar. Possibly out of Arizona....

They were at the Pittsburgh gun show last month....I recall asking about them and they said they were from the Detroit area.

They sell cheap parts mostly.  she told me her upper receivers were built on FN forgings....hmmmm....what does that tell you???

Thanks. Seems that their original web site is now some Anti-Spam company or something, but thanks for the real name.

I bought one of their Colt-clone M4 telestocks once...   It looked good, but stock to buffer tube fit was POOOOR.  Rattled like crazy.  I sent it back immediately for refund and bought a RRA one instead.  MUCH happer.

I've never dealt with them, but I've seen their name dragging through the mud for many years now.  IIRC the owner has had numerous different named parts businesses?

They are indeed good to go. I also seem to recall some FN, yes, FN 20" used uppers on their table a few shows ago.

Sherluk is OK in my book. I usually get small parts from them as they are usually the only game in town when it comes to getting small AR parts at gunshows. However, you really need to know your stuff when you buy parts from them. I've seen them try to pass off cast parts as forged parts and bolt carriers that didn't have the gas key screws staked on. Just know what you are getting and you won't get burned.

I remember the guy, Shurluk. He used to sell Sendra lower receivers exclusively many years ago. I bought one from him. What a poorly machined piece of junk it turned out to be! I actually sold it back to him years later.  He still does many gun shows in Michigan.

I've been dealing with Sherluk for many years now, maybe a dozen or so, bought many parts from them, never had any problems from there merchandise.Last week at the Berea gun show I picked up a 16" M-4 barrel, very nice looking barrel, Even though i have'nt shot it yet, I will very soon.Last year I picked up a flat-top 9mm upper from them,Heavy barrel, very nicely put together. You cannot go wrong purchasing from them

Sherluk/Nesard/Model 1 Sales all are the same people, and they all suck ass.  Customer service blows, and they sell cheap-ass parts of indeterminate origin.  There are no FN uppers.

Well, perhaps I should be more specific. Several shows ago Sherluk had a couple used 20" FN 1/7 barrels attached to A2 uppers with similar signs of abuse. I assumed, perhaps incorrectly that the uppers were indeed FN like the barrels clearly were. In theory I guess they could have been of any manufacture...

There is no doubt that the barrels were FN.

It is completly agreed that most of their stuff is not top of the line.

They do have Colt 14.5 M4 uppers from time to time.

I bought a Sherluk upper one time to put on an old (then) pre ban Essential Arms lower. I didn't know any better at the time, but the upper had a cast FSB. That has become my biggest AR pet peeve...I'm not sure if all their uppers have cast FSB's, or if they have changed or what not, but for the same price at the time I could have gotten a J&T kit which most would consider much better.

They've been on commercial row at Camp Perry during the national matches for years ...and at every Ohio gun show I've ever attended.

They have been around forever... a dealer wouldn't last that long in this industry without treating their customers right.

I called Wilson Arms to inquire about buying a barrel since the "big boys" are so far behind.  The woman on the phone told me they do not sell to the public to avoid compoeting with their dealers.  She volunteered to give me a few dealer names.  First was RRA.  I asked for someone who might actually have a barrel in stock.  She said to try SHERLUK.  I am not aware that Wilson Arms barrels are cheap stuff.

At the shows, I buy my small parts from Garrison Mfg Inc.  Good prices and no BS.
