I made the same jump this christmas. The eotech is pretty neat, but if you dont like crowding, don't get it. If you are a fan of the reticle, get it. That's what it really comes down to, the reticle, either you like it or you don't. Be sure to try one before buying though, many say that the eotech looks fuzzy, but if you don't have astigmatism and you look at the target with both eyes open, there is no problem. (keep the brightness down too)

Why don't you try the EOTech and decide for yourself?  That's how you make a decision.  What  works for you?
