Shot my 308 build, first time today. Accuracy was acceptable off bipod. More checking function, sighting in, and having fun. No problems. Very happy.
Palmetto state upper, lower, parts kit. DPMS barrel. Used off the EE. Original owner said 100 rounds. Midway for the DPMS bolt, receiver extension, buffer, and spring. Magpul rifle forend from local shop. Scope and mount from left over stash. Wanted to report one trouble free 308 build. I did stick with a DPMS bolt and barrel. Could have bought a cheaper bolt but did not.

20 inch heavy barrel. 12 pounds 7 ounces. With nikon and empty mag.
She be a bit porky. |

Did you use the DPMS carrier also? Will the forward assist on PSA work on a DPMS bolt? I haven't looked at them side by side?
