REALLY looks like a Shorty stock on the DoubleStar, and that DEFINATELY looks like the adjustable buttplate for sale at Fulton Armory.  Can anyone confirm this?

Seems like that setup could be great on a postban carbine.

Confirm what?  That you can put any buttplate on the shorty that you can on an A2 stock?

That I can confirm - I've use both the A2 buttplate and the Fulton Armory adjustable buttplate on my carbine's stubby stock.

Forest, how the HECK did you get that bottom screw off?  I can't for the life of me get that thing to budge.

BIG screwdriver.  Seriously.  Just use one that fits perfectly and use a bit of muscle.

Unless they've started using super LocTite on them it should unscrew.
