I have a Fulton Armory upper which has a rectangular, free floated handguard with a rail along the top. In order for me to mount my scope, and to have the proper eye relief, the forward scope mount is on the rail on the handguard, rather then on the upper's rail. I know the handguard is securely mounted, however I feel like the scope should be mounted to the receiver only, rather then one on the upper, and one on the handguard. So I am thinking about getting a ARMS #36 EX rail, which will give me a littlm more (needed) height, as well as another 1.5" forward rail.

My question is, are there any other alternatives that I am not aware of? Something that will allow me to securely mount my scope forward of the A3 upper rail, yet secureing it to the upper?

Thanks

Mike

Do you have measurements of these mounts? Or can you refer me to where I can find them?

They look good, but I need to be sure of the specs

Thanks

What I really need to know, is how far the rings extend forward of the end of the upper rail. I am using a long Nikon scope and my current setup has the forward ring about 2" on to the handguard...

And, of course, how much are they?
