Can anyone tell me what size scope cover is applicable for a 30mm red dot?  I know they are numbered like 1.something +.   I've googled and everything but could not really find anything very conclusive, so I thought I'd ask you folks.  Thanks.

If you had bought an Aimpont, you'd have a cover for that dot of yours.

Okay, seriously.  Post the model of that scope and maybe someone knows for sure.  Or, do what I do and measure the outside of the bell and use the Butler Creek size chart to figure out what you need.  Know anyone with calipers?

I have the size chart at home, so post when you get the measurement.

Whewwww! Thought I was the only guy that did that. Messed the gun store owner up when I just walked in and started grabbing scope caps without anything but a piece of paper.

Thanks dude.  I guess I could have saved myself the e-travel and posted this over with my neighbor's next door

Looks like the diameter of the optic's circular exterior is 1.5 inches.

Yeah, looks like a size 10 to me from the chart.  Thanks, guys.
