I have one , bought at the peak of the 08 elections when these rifles were sky high....paid $1300 back then .

It looks to me like there are two different MP15T rifles, now.
 Model M&P15T Rifle I have this one, and it has been a great rifle. 1:9 twist, Troy BUIS and 10" Troy rail. Model M&P15T - 5.56 mm, Tactical There is also this one. It has a 1:8 twist, Magpul front and rear sites, and a different rail. I'm sure they're both good. Mine shoots very well, and eats everything I've put through it. Not a single issue. ETA: I bought mine right after Zero was elected (I was in denial). Paid $1350. |

I have an older FT version with the Troy parts here in NY, and it is a great little gun. I paid $1,400 at the peak of Presbo. Go for it dude.

Got one when they first came out, and has the Troy accessories. LOVE that rifle! I've got thousands of rounds through it of various weights and manufacture....I haven't had a single malfunction.
