Woah... so you've got a lowpower with a 3x magnifier behind it that you can remove for close range?

Yup, that's badass!

Welcome to arfcom MITCHELL.

That's not my weapon. I "borrowed" the pic from a Talon Arms thread which can be found HERE

I have a TROY cantilever mount on my Aimpoint and currently have a LaRue mount for my 3X. I like the idea of the Samson "flip out" and wanted to get some opinions from those who have used them and naturally find the best price out here.

Larue PVS14 mount works as well. No cutting.

I've used the Samson mount and been impressed. Teknic is the man to talk to at www.rainierarms.com/

Yeah, but no quick flipping either.

I know. I was just saying its a mount that you can use that doesn't require cutting.

The only drawback I can see with the Samson, having never played with one I don't know how true it is, but dirt, sand and grit getting into the mechanism making it difficult to "flip".

I actually prefer it with the Eotech over the Aimpoint. For some reason it seems to clarify (cleanup) the reticle/ circle, which makes no sense at all to me. All I know is that I like it.

I use the 3x with both the Aimpoint and the EOTech. Hit that link for a ton of pics with the EOTech set up.

I have it on good authority that there are quite a few US Army Special Forces operators that are running the QF 3x behind the 552.
US Army Rangers are now running the QF 3x behind Aimpoint M3s and M2s.

We have Quick Flips in stock but no magnifiers right now.
We should be have more available in two weeks. Nobody knows more about these set ups than we do. Send me an email with any questions.

+1 - Teknic/John @ Rainierarms knows his shit! I handled a setup of his with the quick flip and 3x infront of an EOTech - it was extremely nice! As I recall, he prefers the 3x in front of the EOTech vs the Aimpoint.
