I found a few testimonials
and This one and also this one There is a Team Member Dealer here on the boards that has gotten behind their products, and many swear by them......Sabre Defence web page and the dealers site----->Talon Arms Looks good to me and I would definitely consider them.........and will likely do so |

Someone who knows a lot more about ARs than me (well for whatever that's worth) says Sabre is high quality.

Cool. Thanks for the linkies. I'm wondering if anyone has done a "torture test" by now? It looks like the Sabre might be a viable alternative to a 6920.

The only thing that I know that passes for a torture test is a range gun that hasnt been cleaned. The shop owner keeps a round count and last I checked, couple of months back, it was at 9k rounds without a jam I'm still very impressed with Sabre |

 Sabre is our first choice for ARs now. I could not be more pleased with the quality of product and customer service. When we set out to do a massive order on 1/7 mid-length barrels with M4 extensions, they were they only company willing to do the EXACT specs we requested. Not only that, but they did it in less than 2 months! The quality is outstanding. Like most of you, I did not know a damn thing about Sabre before this year. But when we met with Grant Morgan of Sabre Defence at the NRA show, we knew this was the line we were looking for to suppliment two other manufacturers that take forever to deliver. Instead of 8 to 12 weeks of back order, I can order a rifle for a customer and have it in 5 to 14 days! The finish is awesome, the quality is top notch and they run without a hitch. I have a an upper I have been shooting since April and I have over 3000 rounds through it. I have had ZERO malfunctions. I can order you almost any brand of AR15, but I recommend Sabre. The reasons? Better quality barrels, faster deliver time, and great quality. Another testiment to the quality and value is the fact I have not even loaded the other brands we carry on the web site yet... So do you think that a Sabre M4gery would be the "perfect" answer to people who's criticisms about the 6920 are the non milspec trigger pins?
Also, is Sabre making a M4gery with a 1:7" chrome lined bbl? Rich |

Paul is having his own barrels with the magnflux testing, or whatever it is that Colt-o-philes rave about, ssame metal 1/7 chrome lined etc. If I was considering a new build right now I would get one of his barrels (assume they are in stock). I talked to him about it on the phone once or twice, he seems pretty serious about turning out very high quality barrels. To be honest I am surprised there have not been more posts about them.
Although I have heard that sabre's are an excellent barrel also. edit-Sorry, I'm referring to Bravo Co. |

If non mil spec trigger pins are the only complaint, I guess there is no valid complaint.
I bought a mid length nine twist 'govt' profile barrel from Sabre. The diameter under was straight cut. Too much gas in the action. Markings were illegible. Accuracy was poor. This is but one barrel. Too bad it was mine. |
