20" government profile uppers have been few and far between for the past year. Good to see them coming back in stock.

They've been there for a while. I've been obsessively looking @ that one and the Bushmaster one for $525.

Still waiting for BCM to send me a "Back in stock" email for thier 20" upper.

ETA: another ND post.

Add a Sabre lower for $265 and you've got a complete 20" Sabre A3 for $860

I bought one last time PK had them. One of the best uppers I own. It is every bit as good as a BCM. Remember these guys are building them for real now too.....

Like KJB I bought mine last time PK had them, maybe a year and a half ago. Mine has never failed and easily shoots sub-moa with the right ammo. If you want a A4 style rifle I would definitely put the Sabre up there with Colt and BCM.

Apparently the SD A4 barrels are made in limited quantities. They will show up for a couple of months and then disappear for a year or so.

Here's my A4gery with a Sabre upper.

I did the same. Ordered my Sabre A4 upper from PK back in '07. They had a great deal, it was $750 with the KAC M5 RAS installed

So i was thinking about a stag 4H upper, how would that stack up against a sabre? is that like comparing a lambourgini to a chevy aveo or something?

How much beter would one of these be compared to say a bushmaster 20" government?

I would go with Sabre. I believe the Stag is a heavy barrel and it has a 1/9 twist as opposed to the Sabre's 1/7

The Bushmaster 1/7 20" is very good but comes with a standard FSB making it not a true A4 barrel. The newer ones do have M4 feedramps. I used a Bushmaster 1/7 20" from PK for a recent A2 build. I had gotten rid of my A2s over the past few years and started missing them so I had to build one. Carried one on and off for almost 20 years...........

This and they are not chrome lined and come with standard FSB or at least they did last time I handled one.
