Hello all, I'm new to AR's and also the world of optics.  I have been thinking about getting a scope for my AR, and have come up with the SWFA 1-6 and GRSC 1-6 to use as a multi purpose scope that allows CQB and can still target shoot/ hunt with.  I know the main difference is in the reticle, but I was wondering if anyone can give me their experiences/ opinions on these two choices contrasting the advantages/ disadvantages of each. Thanks.

Welcome aboard newbie.

I have no experience with the SWFA scope and really don't know what style reticle it uses.

But I do have an older GRSC 1x4. It takes a bit of use to get used to the reticle but the more I use it the more I'm loving it. If/when I get a .308 AR the GRSC 1x6 will be at the top of the list of scopes i'll be looking at.
