wow thanks, read the bushmaster one too, and they differ on one important part, BM says never clean towards chamber, always exit out of muzzle, while krieger says to never exit muzzle, strange, any thoughts?

No offense intended, but so many people ask questions before searching when the answer is readily available. No contradiction there - BM says clean from the breech end, Krieger says clean from the breech end but don't push the rod out past the muzzle and drag it back or you'll wear on the crown. That seems almost impossible if you are using a brush, but you can let the patch drop off the jag without pushing it too far.
