Well here are the initial zero pics from my SPR. The zero is only from 25M. Hopefully I will get it to the 100M range Saturday.

the target on left is rapid fire. The one on the right is final zero.

And here is Miss Lyndsey helping me clean it after the range.

You're obviously new around here.  Do a search for SPR and you learn all about the rifle and why it's configured that way.

As I recall Freefall assembled it himself, as many of us do.

M-Forgery, the barrels are specially made for Wes at MSTN by Frank White at Compass Lake Engineering.  Wes then has them KG Gunkoted black.  I assembled the upper.  FREE, let me know how it goes at 100m.  I have not shot mine since early spring.  I hope to get a chance once the range reopens next week.

Very nice groups!  I had very similar groups out of my 16.25" KRIEGER.  Though I was using New Manufactured Black Hills 60gr vmatch moly rounds.  What ammo were you using?

If that's the case, is it really 1/7 twist or a tad slower?  My SPR from MSTN with Douglass CLE barrel is a slower twist.

Wes is very secretive of the actual twist rate.  All I know is that it is not 1/7.

Very true, Raptor22.  Notice I just said mine was slower, but I didn't say exactly what twist rate it is.  I have a close figure, but I don't know exactly myself.  It's close to 1/8 I think.  Perhaps 1/7.8?  All I know is those barrels shoot (though your MSTN upper is almost twice as tight as my MSTN upper, grrr...) Let's see what how FREE's barrel shakes out.  One thing is for sure, he has got a PREMO barrel, and upper - it will do it, he just has to do his part.

FREE, it may take 100-200 rds before your barrel settles down, so as good as it is now, it's just going to get better! [:D]
