I have been contemplating a build for a while now and am going to start gettigs things together. What barrels do you all suggest? I know chrome lined is not technically what is used and most use SS barrels. Has anyone built one with a SBN barrel? Supposedly it is accurate as a non chrome barrel.

Budget is flexible but I don't want to pay more for something if a lesser expensive item works just as well.

I have a WOA and I've been very pleased with it. 18" 1/8 rifle gas

I used BCM's 18'' SS in my SPR. Shoots sub moa, will do 1/2-3/4'' with match ammo and a steady trigger hand at 100 yards.

Wilson Combat makes great barrels, so does Lilja.

i dont know about 18" barrels but a 16" WOA barrel I have is capable of 3/4- 1MOA groups with certain top grade factory ammo. I have never re-loaded but I am told they are capable of tighter groups with handloads

I went with a Rainier ultra match SPR barrel.
Very happy with it.
