I am currently looking into maybe rebuilding one of my pre-ban 20" AR into a SPR, and is looking for more detailed information on the SOCOM SPR.

I would like info like who supplied the forearm (does not look like the KAC or ARMS forearm), the fold down front sight, scope rings, scope (which make and model), the flash hider/compensator and other details.

Thanks in advance

All of this is covered in past posts in the Rifles/upper/lowers section. It also depends on which variant of the SPR (yes there is more than 1) you want to build. Initial ones used the PRI carbon fiber free float tube and PRI folding front sight. Wes at MSTN (a frequent poster in that section) can tell you all about the parts and can get them for you should you desire them.

Don't forget to check Wes's MSTN forum under the Industry board.

Looks like the SPR veriosn I need information for is the Mod-0, the PRI free floating handguard and long SWAN sleeve. Will be looking at the other two website for info, but anybody have any idea which optics the military uses: Leuopld M3, US Optics...etc?
