Please do not type in all caps. It is considered shouting.
If someone told you that a laser existing for the pistol before you bought it, then I suggest you go to that person and find out which one they were referring to. If that doesn't work, call Springfield directly. If anyone would know, they would. BTW, there is a dedicated forum here for Springfield pistols which is where there post should really be.
