My understanding is that Surefire uses KG Gunkote in Flat Dark Earth color

I believe it is the same as Coyote Brown, Please correct me if Iam wrong.

Those look just like coyote brown to me. I was hoping the "dark" implied a little darker.

"Flat Dark Earth" is the the new color choice for the SOCOM SCAR rifle program. I have seen a few prototype/pre production models sportimg this color. I have no pics, I know, I know. The colr I saw was more of a dark bronze color than brown.

To me, neither the KG Gunkote, the Magpull ladders or buttstock, or the TD grips on the rifle in the blackjack333 pic really look like the same color as the "Flat Dark Earth" on the SCAR rifle shown in the pics in the link.

TR gunkote (tenring) FLAT TAN is almost a dead ringer.
