What is the benifit of a military model? does it make the ar stronger or float the barrel better. All i know is that the M model needs to have the delta ring removed and also that front peice in front the site base. I don't see what make this "military".

less moving parts, and i'd say it's called the military version because it is designed for units who can have an armorer go through and remove all their delta rings etc, as where most civvies would probably prefer a product where you don't ahve to remove the barrel or use a dremel dangerously close to your upper/barrel to install it
that said, i prefer the mil version for the reason i stated early on
