found an old style SGW (olympic arms, right?) rifle, no b/bc/ch or trigger group.
has a1 upper
20 inch chrome lined lightweight barrel.
finish is ok.
has those old triangle hand gaurds.

whats it worth?

Might be easier to sell it in parts. Upper might be worth $170-250, depending on condition.  Lower might be worth $150-300 to someone in a ban state.  Maybe you could trade the lower out for a  couple of Stag lowers.

Half the original value was right there...  From what I've read on SGW, most had all M16 guts minus the AS.

Or, they didn't want the liability of selling it that way.
