That is some serious flutes on the SDM barrel, bet it is still heavier then the SPR barrel though.

Yup, built on Colt M4 uppers, so its a requirement. The Army is under contract I believe to use Colt parts?

I think 1SGA posted a KAC 2-stage trigger was used on the SDM.

Are those stainless extensions? I thought extensions were supposed to be made out of a special steel like bolts.

My bad - I sold the last 6.8SPC barrel - I have the 20" .223 barrels in stock.
