These magazines have no marking except a plastic "singapore" sticker and are sold as steel 30 rd royal ord mags. What should they fetch and are they the reliable brits? thanks in advance.

are they the same? Hope this wasn't a dumb Q. I searched the site and the web and can't find anything on royal mags. The seller said they were nato/mil spec brit mags.

It wasnt a dumb question, the board has been slow lately. Their are two diff types of mags. The Royal Ord ones (blued) and the SA-80 (made in England ones) which are gray. I am not an expert on these but would think they should be fine mags. Cost should run $15 each, and can be found on the EE. Ammoman carries them I believe. PS- I have several of the gray ones and they all ran fine.

I gave $17 at the Richmond show yesterday for another just to compare. The other gray one I have/had worked fine. Just can't find it. Danny

These are gray park. color with black plastic followers. If they don't work I can return or exchange.

Since they are the gray ones, if they are anywhere near $15 each, no more than $17, then I'd get a few. Just a hint though...some may not catch the mag catch correctly. Just take a small file and file the top of the mag catch hole...little at a time. Not all are this way, just a few. Other than that, they are good to go. I bought six from http://www.ammoman.comand thet all worked great.

As a side note, I went to change the follower and it was already anti-tilt. Danny
